You've come to the right place if you would like to have freshly made cocktails served at your event. Rent-a-Keg's striking mobile bars have been designed specifically with cocktails in mind, and we have made life easy for you by providing an all-inclusive cocktail bar package. We arrive at your event with all the necessary equipment to have a smoothly running cocktail bar serving delicious cocktails all night long.
Our bars are solid stainless steel with front lighting and they come with insulated ice well and speed rail. We have designed them so that everything can be stored in one place and our fully trained cocktail mixologists can work most effectively. We bring ice scoops, muddlers, strainers, stirring spoons, rubber mats, bar caddies, napkins, straws, chipping boards and knives, condiment boxes, etc. There are quite a few items required for a cocktail bar to run smoothly and we supply them all.
We pride ourselves in supplying top quality cocktail bar staff. Not only will they arrive looking immaculate in cocktail uniform (apron, smart black shirt, black trousers, black shoes), but they will also be fun and pleasant to have at your party. All of the staff that we provide are highly trained and extremely competent. They have all worked on many prestigious events around the country. Our cocktail bar package options come with cocktail mixologists as standard. Some people like to have a flair bartender for the evening. Having someone provide a visual performance by throwing bottles in the air is impressive and very entertaining! These specialists are in short supply so please contact us as early as possibly before your event.
We understand that for smaller parties you might want to hire some items individually e.g. just a bar and a cocktail mixologist. Please have a look at our various prices at the bottom of this page.
Rent-a-Keg offers clients a unique custom cocktail service. Let us have the details of your event, i.e. the theme and the ingredients that you most like, and we will design a cocktail specifically for you. This comes as part of our cocktail bar package and adds another dimension to your party.
We pride ourselves in only using fresh ingredients and we understand the importance of using good quality glassware, especially when serving hand crafted drinks.
Recent events that we have worked on include a cocktail party for 600 people in Westminster Abbey for a prestigious catering company. Our green and blue cocktails were created around the company colours and the theme of the night – natural and organic produce. One of our cocktail experts spent the weekend working on various concepts and ideas for cocktails (never produced before!) and we presented these to our client who was incredibly pleased.
Here's an idea of what we created, and how to make it at home:
Carribean Kiwi Mojito
- Half a fresh kiwi
- Half a fresh lime
- 10 mint leaves
- 10ml sugar syrup
How to make: Muddle kiwi with lime and sugar in a highball glass, add the mint & rum and churn with crushed ice. Top up with crushed ice, service with a straw and garnish with a mint sprig!
Leaving cocktails aside, we accommodate requests for all kinds of drinks, and stock a wide selection of mainstream and specialist beers, ciders and ales, and provide a full list of spirits, mixers, soft drinks, etc. Our specialist wine provider can supply us with delicious wines to suit every pocket and palate.
