Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a keg last once opened?
Varies between 1 and 3 weeks, depending on the beer type and the gas used.
Do you offer sale or return?
Only if agreed in advance, only on certain brands, and only if the keg is unopened. Please contact us for further information. We charge £20 & VAT handling charge per unopened keg and will refund you the balance within 7 days of collection.
What if I have a problem with my keg?
Our technicians will test and demonstrate the equipment on site; you will be left with instructions for reference and an out-of-hours phone number that you can use in emergencies.
When will my equipment be delivered?
We deliver Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm. Please note that if your event is on a weekend our standard day for delivery will be Friday and collection the following Monday. Please contact us 39if you can only take a weekend delivery.
We will call you before your party to confirm a delivery time. We cannot give specific delivery times so we ask that you can be as flexible as possible.
Can you deliver the equipment to one location and collect from a different one?
Yes we can. We will show you on delivery how to disconnect everything and move it safely.
What do I need to have in place for the delivery?
All we need is a plug for our cooler (s) and a table surface for our beer tap(s) to clamp onto. Easy!
What if I have my own kegs but just require the equipment?
We can supply equipment without the kegs. See Draft Beer Equipment Hire40 for more information.
I live outside your standard delivery areas and need some kegs and gas. Can you help?
Yes. We have an account with a large beer wholesale with 20 depots across the country. We can arrange for the beer or gas that you want to be ready for collection at any of these depots. Please call us to find out the nearest one to you. We need payment upfront for the kegs. It is your responsibility to return the kegs and gas cannisters back to the depot once you have finished with them.
