Organizers of the Petts Wood Calling Festival, a popular music festival attracting over 2000 attendees.

Challenge

The festival organizers were in need of a high-flow pour service to meet the demand of over 2000 festival-goers. They also required a diverse range of drinks on tap to cater to different preferences. The goal was to ensure quick service, keep the kegs at the right temperature, and offer drinks that would satisfy a large crowd.

Solution

Our team designed and supplied a custom draught drinks tap system tailored to the event. The setup included:

• 15 taps over an 8-meter bar, which we also provided.
• A selection of popular and quality drinks on tap, including:
  • Amstel (Main Lager)
  • London Pride (Fast-pouring bitter)
  • Orchards Cider (Asahi UK’s new cider)
  • Meantime Pale Ale
  • Guinness (A rarity at festivals)

To keep the kegs chilled below 6°C and ensure smooth service, we designed a remote cellar away from the bar. The kegs were fed from a chiller trailer, which we also supplied. We also provided staff to monitor the equipment and handle keg changes throughout the weekend.

Result

The Petts Wood Calling Festival was a resounding success. The high-flow pour service kept the queues moving quickly, and the diverse drink selection pleased all attendees. As a result, our client saw a 20% increase in sales compared to previous years.
